How It Works

Our predictions are powered by data from real gameplay sessions. Players run our free desktop app, HowManyFPS, which records FPS, CPU and GPU usage, temperatures, and bottleneck metrics frame by frame during actual gameplay. These sessions feed our machine learning models, which learn how different hardware combinations perform across different games and settings.

The result: when you enter your GPU and CPU into our FPS Calculator, you get estimates grounded in real data, not theoretical specs or synthetic benchmarks.
